How returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for research materials.
Please note: because these materials are supplied for laboratory research and are sold with an intact seal, opened or previously accepted vials cannot be returned to inventory. The provisions below explain what we can do instead.
If your order arrives damaged, compromised in transit, or is not the item you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the outer packaging and its contents as received.
Verified shipping damage or a fulfilment error is resolved at our cost, by replacement of the affected item or a full refund of it, at your election. We do not require the item to be returned in these cases unless we specifically request it.
Every batch ships with a certificate of analysis. If independent testing in your laboratory produces a result materially inconsistent with the certificate for that batch, send us your analytical data and the batch number.
We will review the finding against our retained sample for the same batch. Where a discrepancy is confirmed, the affected item is refunded in full and the batch is withdrawn from sale pending re-testing.
Unopened items with an intact seal may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to prior written authorisation. Contact us before returning anything — unauthorised returns cannot be processed or credited.
Authorised returns must travel by a tracked service. Return shipping is the purchaser's responsibility unless the return arises from our error.
We are unable to refund items that have been opened, altered, decanted, or otherwise used; items returned without prior authorisation; and requests made more than 14 days after delivery.
We also cannot refund an order on the basis of experimental outcomes. We warrant the identity and purity of the material against its certificate of analysis; we make no representation about the results of any research application.
Orders may be cancelled without charge at any time before they enter fulfilment. Once an order has been packed and handed to the carrier it cannot be recalled, and the terms above apply instead.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We process them within 5 business days of approval; the interval before the credit appears on your statement is set by your card issuer or bank, typically 5 to 10 business days.
Original shipping charges are refunded only where the refund arises from our error.
Submit refund and return requests through our contact form, quoting your order number, the batch number of the affected item, and a description of the issue. We acknowledge every request and will tell you what documentation, if any, we need.
